First Lamborghini Huracans making £30k premiums

Lamborghini Huracan (pictured) fethcing premiums of up to £30k Tim Marlow, Director of Magnitude Finance, has revealed that two of their clients are amongst the first UK buyers due to get their car, and despite financing the purchase they’ve already decided to flip their car as soon as it arrives for a quick return. One has already secured a £27k premium for the car – which he won’t even bother to drive before he sells it on – and the expectation is that premiums could hit £30k in the first months after the Huracan arrives, such is demand for Lamborghini’s new supercar. But with UK dealers expecting just 4 cars each in 2014 (although Lamborghini London are getting a few more) those buyers who got in quick for an early delivery are sitting on a near 20 per cent profit as the less organised seek to get behind the wheel.

Stinger Stuns At Detroit Motor Show

KIA has surprised the assembled crowds at the Detroit motor show with a stunning sports car concept, the GT4 Stinger. The Korean car company isn’t holding back with its new creation, as the low-slung coupe boasts rear-wheel drive, a 315 horsepower version of its current 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor and dramatic looks. Land Rover OKs LRX-based small SUV for Range Rover

Land Rover will put its striking LRX concept car, first displayed at the 2008 Detroit auto show, into production with the help of a $37.1 million grant from the British government. But in a move suggesting it will be pitched further upmarket than originally intended--against four-wheel-drive rivals such as the Audi Q5, the BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLK--the LRX will reach showrooms wearing Range Rover badges. "Internal studies have shown that if we deliver the LRX to market, it would be best suited to the Range Rover brand," Land Rover boss Phil Popham said.
